Systems Engineer | Tier 1 Cloud Services Provider | €47,400 + 12.5% Bonus

Pearson Carter are working with a global Microsoft Gold Partner based in Malta. They are looking for an Systems Engineer to join an award-winning team.

These game-changers are known in the Cloud industry for their innovation, and even deployed Malta’s first Cloud Platform. As a Tier 1 Cloud Services Partner, the role will have a direct path to Principal/Tech Lead level.

Experience:

• An experienced engineer with knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and AWS.
• Have extensive hands-on system administration skills in multiple tech areas such as: Windows and/or Linux server-side infrastructure, virtual machines, and associated technologies on physical servers, VMWare and database administration.
• Don’t mind configuring and troubleshoot Terminal servers (RDS), Windows Clustering, NLB, DFS, Internal PKI, and Hyper-V. PowerShell cmdlet and scripting;
• Are able to effectively coordinate and multi-task across various groups and functional teams inside and outside of the organization.
• Experience on AWS and/or GCP will be considered an asset;
• Knowledge of scripting and automation concepts;
• Knowledge of international standards and/or regulations such as ISO 27001, DORA, PCI-DSS etc.;
• Knowledge of security best practices;
• Microsoft qualifications such as AZ-500, MS-500 and AZ-104.

Responsibilities:

• Onboarding, administering and performing operational tasks on customers’ cloud and on-premise environments.
• Helping design and then implement new technical projects for our customers.
• Work day to day on operational issues, requests and project tasks involving various technologies e.g. Azure, Windows servers, Linux servers, patching tools, server virtual machine etc.
• Installing, configuring, administrating and managing Azure compute instances, Azure Backup, Azure Storage Monitor, snapshot, Azure Storage.
• Configuring, administrating various Microsoft 365 technologies including Defender and Intune.

Salary:

They offer an excellent salary for up to €47,400 + 12.5% Bonus + GO Pack – €1500 + Healthcare

Malta – Hybrid
