Systems Engineer | Malta | €45,000 + €2,400 Bonus

 

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for cloud technologies? BMIT is on the lookout for a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise Solutions team, where you’ll provide top-notch managed services for our clients across on-premise, data center, and cloud environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard and manage customers’ cloud and on-premise environments.
• Design and implement innovative technical projects.
• Tackle day-to-day operational tasks across various technologies, including Azure, Windows, and Linux servers.
• Install, configure, and manage Azure services, including compute instances and backup solutions.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 technologies like Defender and Intune.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and enhancements for managed environments.
• Take ownership of client issues, ensuring quick resolution.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Document systems and problem solutions effectively.

 

Experience:

• An experienced engineer well-versed in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS).
• Proficient in system administration across Windows and/or Linux infrastructures.
• Comfortable configuring and troubleshooting Terminal Servers, Clustering, and Hyper-V.
• A proactive multi-tasker with strong coordination skills.

 

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation.
• Understanding of international standards like ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ-500, MS-500, AZ-104) are a plus.

 

Salary:

They’re offering a salary range between €45,000 + €2,400 + 12.5 % Bonus depending on experience

 

Location

The client is based in Malta and they are looking for someone to be in the office on a Hybrid Basis.
