Senior Backend Developer | up to €65,000 | Malta

Pearson Carter are currently working with a very modern bank based in Malta. 65% of their banking is done online and tech is at the forefront of everything they do and the development team is the backbone of this! They are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expert skills in .NET & C# to join their ranks and spearhead exciting upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to building and maintaining enterprise back-end solutions
• Building unit and performance tests
• Taking ownership of code written and understanding the importance of writing in a scalable and maintainable way
• Collaborating with the DevOps and other teams within the bank to implement and deploy new functionalities
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team

Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience with .NET & C#
• Experience with Testing Frameworks – NUnit and MOQ
• Strong experience with SQL – MSSQL, Oracle and NoSQL would be beneficial
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab and Gitflow would be ideal

Salary:

They offer a great salary up to €65,000 plus benefits.

Location

The client is based in Malta and they are looking for someone to be in office 3-5 days per week during probation period, with the opportunity to move to flexible hybrid working afterwards.
