Hybrid QA Team Lead €45k

Pearson Carter are currently working with a multi award winning company that are reshaping the financial service industry by offering a platform that integrates investments, payments and card services for individuals and businesses alike. They are seeking a QA Team Lead to join their company and lead the team that developers the front and back end office systems to aid their exponential growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development and growth within the organization.
• Coordinate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, methodologies, and processes tailored to the unique requirements of financial software development.
• Define testing standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain product integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA activities seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in software quality assurance, with a focus on financial applications or FinTech products.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly in agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Solid understanding of financial industry standards and security principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, optimizing QA workflows, and delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Salary

The annual salary for this role is up to €45K
