MI Systems Developer

Pearson Carter are working with a UK based Insurance and financial services company with their office based in Birmingham West Midlands. They are looking for a MI Solutions Developer to come in and join the team.

This role offers hybrid working an after an initial period 4-6 weeks period on site.

Skillset

– 2 days in the office minimum following initial period in office. – they also said that they would give 2 weeks notice for any non-negotiable days they might have to come in

– At least an A Level or HND in Computer Studies or equivalent technical qualification

– At least 2 years experience of Power BI and SQL

– Good knowledge, experience and understanding of Power BI, SQL and Excel

– Knowledge of insurance terminology and working practices

– Knowledge of Power Automate (Flow) would be beneficial

– Knowledge of Jira Service Desk would be beneficial

– Knowledge of Zoho Creator would be beneficial

– Knowledge of Dynamics 365 would be beneficial

Role

– Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases, ensuring data integrity and optimisation of performance

– Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into actionable data insights

– Leverage advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning techniques (where applicable) to push the boundaries of data-driven decision-making

– Automate data workflows and reporting processes to streamline business operations and reduce manual effort

– Maintain and manage existing MS Dynamics 365 platform
