Pearson Carter are currently working with a multi award winning company that are reshaping the financial service industry by offering a platform that integrates investments, payments and card services for individuals and businesses alike. They are seeking a .NET Team Lead to join their company and lead the team that developers the front and back end office systems to aid their exponential growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled professionals including Backend and Front-End Developers. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to facilitate their growth and development.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative financial products and services. Drive the implementation of new features, enhancements, and functionalities.
• Liaise with various other people such as the Product Manager, CTO and Head of Technology
• Work closely with HR on recruitment and other HR-related strategies.
• Take ownership of the overall quality of the application.
• Suggest initiatives that improve working efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a deep understanding of fintech industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex issues and optimize processes within the team.
• Own and be responsible for the team’s software releases on time.
• Ensures that systems developed are adequately monitored and maintained.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging innovation, fostering a learning mindset, and implementing process enhancements to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Experience

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience leading software development teams and a strong technical background.
• Must experience with the following technologies (.NET Core, Web API, MVC / MVVM, C#).
• Must have an IT-related degree or qualification.
• Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of financial technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Salary

The annual salary for this role is up to €60k.

Location

This company has an office based in Malta and is a hybrid role.
